After 10 years in the game they approached us for a refresh of their current identity. Kuckoo had a very clear vision and an established brand.
Confience is the new strategy, not cocky or arrogant, but confident in the name and what it stands for. We put the name front and centre of the brand and removed all the clutter. Taking inspiration from iconic magazines such as NME, Rolling Stone and Mojo we implemented the wordmark as a bold, unmissable, in-your-face mast head which is flexible, yet consitent and recognisable across all executions.
By employing bold confident statements, a gridsystem and energetic photography we captured the precision, passion and energy of the brand.
The result is a flexible, clear, concise identity system that allows them to be confident and consistent.
