The Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) is a global tech organisation on a mission to transform how technology communicates. With input from industry giants like Samsung, they’ve developed an open standard designed to create seamless, secure connections between smart devices—paving the way for a more intuitive tech ecosystem.

After years focused on development, OCF needed to take a step back and clarify how they present themselves to the world. We ran a full strategic audit—workshops, surveys and one-to-ones with everyone from engineers to board members—to get under the skin of the organisation. That work shaped a new brand strategy and set the stage for a refreshed identity.
The updated mark captures OCF’s two core values: openness (a soft, circular form) and security (a strong, angular diamond). It’s simple, confident, and fit for a global platform. With a clear voice and a sharpened identity, OCF is now positioned to lead the conversation around the future of connected tech.
